About

What this channel is

Just Another Patriot is an independent news-commentary channel for people who love their country, whichever country that is. We look at how governments, Brussels and public institutions spend money and use power, and we show our working.

The editorial standard

Sources always linked

Every factual claim in a video carries a source tag, and every source is linked on the episode page and in the video description. Primary documents come first: legislation, official answers, audit reports, court records. Where a figure comes from a political group, a campaign or a private website, we say so.

Hard on institutions, never on groups of people

We hold governments, the European Union and public bodies to account. We do not attack people for their religion, ethnicity or nationality. Allegations are reported as allegations, worded exactly as the sources word them.

Their side, on the record

When a video criticises an organisation, its response is quoted and linked. If it has not responded, we say that too.

Corrections policy

If we get something wrong, we correct it as quickly as we can. Corrections are pinned on the video, noted in the description and logged publicly on the corrections page with the date and what changed. We do not quietly edit and move on.

The presenter

Our presenter, Tom Ashby, is an AI character. He is not a real person. The research and editorial decisions are human.

We disclose this openly on every platform, and we mark our videos as altered or synthetic content where a platform asks. The presenter is a way of delivering the work. It is not a substitute for checking it.

Independence

We are not affiliated with any political party, campaign or government. This website runs no trackers, no analytics and no advertising scripts, and sets no cookies.
